What happens is, sometimes the chat scrolls away and they click on the wrong person, and they don't realise what happened. So ignoring a question for stuff you don't have won't make them go away, they're gonna keep at it, esp. if they saw a good deal or really need that stuff. I usually say "wrong person[, I don't sell that]".

I hope the guy is reading this thread and feeling stupid, the conversion went something along the lines of. I believe it was widely acceptable to sell a silver Z-coin for around 2k due to them having more use then being converted into gold ones. I have had no problem recently selling sets of 50 for 14e within a minute of announcing it and even made more then that on other sets without haggling.
So i announced in trade...
Me: "WTS Silver Zoins, 50 for 100k"...
random guy: lol
Me: ???
random guy: your stupidity amazes me
random guy: Gold coin = 15k, gold = 10 silvers
Me: Actually 2k is a reasonable price pay attention to trade. Silver coins have more use and i have no trouble selling these people.
random guy: moron
... some other guy: Will 14ecto do?
Me: Yeah sure, thanks.
I pm the guy saying i made 14e from the 50 with no trouble or hanging around and he pm's me again calling me a moron....
-------------------
reminds me of the other day in JQ. Some guy in Jade Quarry Luxon side was spamming chat (not in english ill have you note) and was saying something about monk and green. I was at the green shrine protecting it well with someone else and helping turtles all good.
He then was shouting something about me and was saying where is monk at green, i said im there and he reported me for leeching....major WTF moment I have to say. We lost the match and he blamed me completly and basically said LOL MONK and some lose translation of your crap or your stupid.
Spent the next 10 minutes spamming me i couldnt report as i wasnt in his district. I finally replied saying "you cant blame me for the whole match, especialyl when i wasn't actually doing that bad" "get on with it, suck it up and move on" "and if your going to insult me...speak my language because half your offences arent coming off".
Next second he spams me again with lol moronic monk and then sets me ignore so i cant reply. What a lovely community...I have nothing against foreign players and i understand if i honestly was sucking at playing monk, however I wasn't playing badly and that other guy wasnt actually around mein the match now i think about it.

Now, for the topic. My newest GW acquaintance's name is... Ok, let's not publish it. It starts with Bajs. In my native tongue, that's one term for "fatso", so I've been wondering about the guy, and what the rest of the name meant. So he clarifies it means "thick and black shit".
...rules he had never heard of before and didn't know existed. PANIC!
Took me half an hour to calm the poor kid down, and explain that A) It IS immature, but no big deal B) that it'd only get acted upon if someone reported him and C) that he'd only get a temp ban and need to change the name.
|
If my assumption is right and he's Swedish, shit isn't the proper translation for "bajs", as it is considered a profanity by many english speaking. In Sweden (and it's neighbours), "bajs" is more like a cutesy funny version of poop. You're right about it being immature though, but you can't really be banned for being immature.

Calling you a scammer was over the top, but 5k is pretty overpriced for a sword enchant mod.

Merching in Kaineng I saw someone WTB 5 Monst. Claws. I got done merching & saw the they were still looking for claws. So I went & checked rare mat trader & offered.
This irritates me, trying to take advantage of unaware/new people.

You're still sexist. My personal experience is that women are just as good as men when doing anything in this game. Some of the best pvp players are even female. And tanking, is easy anyways
Anyways: I reported a friend of a 'friend' of mine, who called me a n*gger because he refused to give me 1k back. I was gonna let it go but then he called me a n*gger so I changed my mind and proceeded with the report.
Because you see, this guild is so pro they have a secret policy not to report anybody who are in the guild or friends of the guild no matter how they treat the people in the guild, what they say or do.
The friend decides to set a rumor, yes, lol, a rumor out in the guild about me banning one of their long term buddies, and that basically started a bunch of shit. One of the officers claims i banned a guy, she makes them all hate me, then the guy who they thought got banned never got banned then they refuse to accept that he never got banned and well anyways tl;dr. :/ Typical drama guild.

@Nekodesu, your guild sounds slightly similar to the Adams Family ^^. I know a lot of drama guilds as well :/ Thank God mine isn't one.
Right, stupidest thing for me was when some random player was trying to rub his guild off on me for 100k. (No guild members, no hall and no cape.) Also a very obvious scam for very obvious reasons.
Well, this is only the stupidest thing I can remember :/

So there's two things that sort of seem stupid to me.
First Situation: I was playing JQ for the first time as a mez. I had played as a necro bomber (i.e., button mashed) before, as well as a RoJ monk, and even some failtastic Warrior builds. So I started out with a PvX build to get the feel for the class in JQ. I usually do this in the beginning, and then tweak/completely change it to my desire. Now, I know this next bit is going to get a lot of you yelling and screaming about by n00by choice of elite, but that's not the point here, mmkay? I chose Power Block as my elite, to hastle RoJ monks, Eles, and the occasional idiot necro that thought casting 2 sec skills right at a quarry = l33t. So anyway, I'm playing my Dom-heavy, enchant omnomnoming, PBing mez near a quarry that I'd just capped. Lo and behold, a small enemy monkling comes up to the quarry and attempts to charge her lazor. Of course, I lazily PB the monk, shutting down her entire skill list (easy to tell because I cast Wastrel's Worry on her, and she takes the damage). She immediately calls me a noob for using PB in PvP (...because JQ is really pvp ). If you're going to call someone a noob for using a certain skill, try to make sure it isnt a skill that completely wrecks your build.
Second Situation: This was a week or so ago, around the time of the Dragon Festival. A good friend (We'll call her A) who I hadn't seen online in a long time had just logged on, and we decided to steamroll a few of the quests together. She happens to be a really sweet person, the kind whom you just simply can't get mad at. She asks if she can invite a friend (we'll call this person B), and of course I say yes. I ping my skills (I always do before anything, even something as simple as those quests). 'B' says, as their first comment, that I must put "Fall Back" in my skill bar. 'B' keeps spamming this for a while, clearly adamant that I follow his/her directions. I do, mainly cause it's just simply a good idea. I then ask for her skills, just to see if I'm doing anything redundant. She responds "Good ones."
...derp.
Can you honestly expect me to not want to kick you if you demand that I change my skills and then don't show me yours in return? Of course, 'A', being the overly-apologetic person that she is, immediately started apologizing needlessly for 'B''s behavior.

PB is fine in low-level PvP. It man-handles so many casters that it makes up for being useless against a lot of builds. Don't feel bad about using it.
